If you view or use the Website to place an order with us, you confirm that you have read these Terms and Conditions and agree to adhere to them entirely and without reservation. If you do not agree to our Terms and Conditions, you must not use our Website. Our Terms and Conditions may vary periodically and we may update them accordingly, therefore please ensure that you view this page whenever you visit this Website. We may also update or vary our Terms and Conditions, via notice on other pages of this Website. You will not need to register any details with us in order to access the majority of our Website, however, to view certain areas of the Website we will require your registration with us.

We implement all reasonable endeavours to ensure that every Card shown on our Website, is portrayed entirely accurately and that prices quoted are correct. However, at times, small variations may occur in colour, typeface and layout which emanate from technical issues beyond our control. Greatest Card Ltd disclaims all representations and warranties that the content or information on this Website is accurate, complete, up to date or does not infringe the rights of any third party.
When placing an order with us, having chosen a Card(s) and completing our online checkout process, we will forward an Email to you acknowledging your order. It should be noted, that by completing our online checkout process, this does not constitute our acceptance of your order.
Our acceptance of your order will be at the point of despatch. Therefore a ‘contract of purchase’ is assumed at the point of despatch and not at the point of payment. Under the extreme circumstances that we cannot accept your order, or if you cancel your order placed with us, then no ‘contract of purchase’ is entered into.In exceptional circumstances and for the following reasons, we may not be able to accept your order:
1.) When, unfortunately, we do not hold your chosen card or item in stock.
2.) When we cannot obtain official authorisation for your payment.
3.) Where there has been an error in product selection, description or pricing.
4.) If, as an individual, you do not meet the eligibility standards set out in our terms and conditions.
5.) Where your order for personalised products, makes reference to any copyrighted information, where you may not have obtained permission.
6.) If your order for our personalised products contains scripted content, which is threatening, obscene, indecent, defamatory, offensive, menacing, liable to incite racial hatred, scandalous, , seditious, pornographic, blasphemous, discriminatory, inflammatory, in breach of confidence or privacy or which may cause inconvenience, disturbance or annoyance.
We reserve the right to cancel any order received, at any time and issue a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Personalisation of Cards
The message that you input to any individual Card order may carry a maximum of one hundred characters, including spaces, excluding any printed signature. Each individual message can originate from the chosen card Subject (i.e. 1: Terry Venables – “To Jimmy. With my Very Best Wishes for a Wonderful 16th Birthday and enjoy the game on Saturday” Terry Venables), but must be scripted by the purchaser at the point of order. Alternatively, the message can originate from you the purchaser or a nominated third party (i.e. 2: Dad – “To Jimmy. With my Very Best Wishes for a Wonderful 16th Birthday and enjoy the game on Saturday. Dad”. Then ((optional)) Terry Venables. In Example 1 above, the message carries 96 characters, including spaces (excluding the Subject’s printed signature). Any Subject’s printed signature should not be counted as part of the allocation of one hundred characters within any given individual message.
Greatest Card Limited will make every effort possible to deliver your card(s), precisely in line with your requests and delivery criteria. Please double check every aspect of your order on screen and subsequently your acknowledgment Email, to ensure that all submitted details are entirely to your satisfaction. We cannot refund items where the personalisation has been mis-spelt or incorrectly presented by yourself or if delivery instructions are incorrectly transmitted.
If you do discover any errors of your own making, subsequent to the order process being completed, you should inform us immediately via Email (to firstname.lastname@example.org , quoting your Order Reference and we will do everything within our power to amend your order accordingly. It however remains your responsibility to ensure that all information supplied is factually correct and to your satisfaction before you finalise the order process.
All Initial Original Signatures that appear on Greatest Card Ltd’s products have been secured by Greatest Card Ltd, under contracted license and are certified by both filmed and photographic evidence. All Initial Original Signatures secured by Greatest Card Ltd are held in safe keeping by Greatest Card Ltd, as evidence of this procedure.
In all cases where the Subject’s signature is referred to as “Original”, the signature will appear on the product as an original signature, penned by the Subject in question, and originally secured by Greatest Card Ltd, an example of which is certified by both filmed and photographic evidence.
In all cases where the Subject’s signature is referred to as a “Printed Signature”, the signature will appear as a printed reproduction of the Subject’s Original signature, initially secured by Greatest Card Ltd and certified by both filmed and photographic evidence.
Unless there is a specific request from the purchaser, to omit the Subject’s “Original” or “Printed Signature”, all selected cards will carry the “Original Signature” or “Printed Signature”, as selected by the purchaser, of the chosen Subject at the foot of the purchaser’s scripted message. If specifically requested, a space between the purchaser’s printed, scripted message and the Subject’s ”Original Signature” or “Printed Signature” can be left blank, in order that the purchaser or nominated third party can either sign the card themselves or pen a further message in addition to the printed, scripted message ordered. Alternatively the Subject’s ”Original Signature” or “Printed Signature” can be excluded entirely, leaving the card completely blank beneath the printed, scripted message, allowing the purchaser or nominated third party, to pen a further messages(s) or personal signatures.
Despatch and Delivery
We are entirely aware of the importance of the prompt and efficient delivery of your card(s). We guarantee to despatch your card(s), within 72 hours of receipt of your order. Unless otherwise specified, your order will begin to be processed immediately upon receipt, therefore, your card may be despatched within 24 or 48 hours of receipt of your order.
The despatch date, will be the day on which we send your card (always within the final collection criteria of the given courier ((i.e. Royal Mail)), and not the day on which it is delivered. We will always refer to the despatch date as our point of reference in respect of orders.
All card or cards ordered, with a relevant United Kingdom address, will be despatched via Royal Mail, First Class within the 72 hour envelope referred to above. 90% of Royal Mail, First Class Deliveries, arrive the following day. Unfortunately however, some 10% of items delivered First Class can take up to 3 days from the point of despatch, to be delivered. In order to expedite your order, you should always quote a relevant postcode as part of your delivery/shipping address. This may seem an obvious observation, however, some people do omit a postcode and as a consequence may experience delay in their delivery. You may confirm the correct postcode in respect of your delivery address, by referring to the Royal Mail’s Postcode Finder www.royalmail.com
If you require your card(s) to arrive at their destination on a specific date, you must specify that date in a supporting Email (to email@example.com), quoting your Name, your Order Reference Number and the Delivery Date required, at the point of order. The Delivery Date quoted cannot be within the 72 hour period subsequent to the time of your order. Therefore, in any circumstances, we highly recommend that wherever possible, you place your order at least 72 hours prior to any deadline you may have to meet for delivery.
If no specific delivery date is requested, your order will begin to be processed at the point we receive your order. Under normal circumstances, this will mean that your card or item will be despatched on either the day your order is received or the following working day and will arrive the day after despatch.
We will do everything within our power to satisfy any delivery requirements, however we will always ask you to refer to the five paragraphs above as our official stance on Despatch and Delivery. If you have any specific requests regarding despatch and delivery, or any enquiries at all regarding your order, you should make contact with us via Email (to firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you request your Card(s) to be sent to yourself initially, in order that you might forward it to a third party (perhaps after adding your own penned messages to the Card), your Card(s) will be despatched inside a secondary, outer envelope, with a blank Gold envelope inside the secondary one together with the Card(s) as requested. The outer envelope, will have The Greatest Card Ltd return address printed on it. In all such cases, the Postage and Packaging Charge may be increased as a result of the weight of the secondary envelope. This is dependent upon your delivery requirements at the time of order.
Please Note: If your Card(s) has not arrived at their destination by the third full working day (5 working days of addresses in Europe and 7 working days for addresses outside Europe) after the point of despatch, please inform us immediately via Email (to email@example.com).
At Greatest Card Ltd, we accept payment for our Card(s) from all major Credit or Debit Cards and PayPal, via the ordering procedure on our Website.
Postage and Packaging Charges
The prices in respect of our Card(s) are shown exclusive of Postage and Packaging charges; these will be shown, as follows, separately at the checkout stage. The charges quoted below are for United Kingdom addresses only, covered by the Royal Mail standard service;
1.) Standard Royal Mail First Class Delivery Service £.70
2.) Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ Service £1.95
Prices for all other specifically requested delivery services including international delivery, will be quoted upon request via Email (to firstname.lastname@example.org). If you request a delivery service other than the two services quoted above (i.e. Royal Mail “Guaranteed Next Day Delivery” Service or Royal Mail “Tracked and Guaranteed” Service), you MUST secure a “specific delivery quotation” from us via Email (to email@example.com), PRIOR to completing the ‘checkout’ section of the ordering procedure.
All prices displayed on our Website are shown inclusive of Value Added Tax at the prevailing HMRC standard rate (Currently the standard rate is 20%).
In the vast majority of cases, your order confirmation constitutes a simplified VAT receipt in line with HMRC guidelines. However, should you require a Full VAT Invoice, these are available upon request via Email (to firstname.lastname@example.org). Please allow seven working days, after the point of request, for your Full VAT Invoice to arrive.
Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Greatest Card Ltd or any courier or carrier service we employ, shall not be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay results from any circumstances beyond our reasonable control; these circumstances are to include but shall not be limited to any weather conditions, such as snow, flood, extreme winds, fire, explosion, accident, traffic congestion, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, terrorism, act of God, or from any industrial dispute or strike.
Cancellation or Order Amendment
At any time you can check the progress or your order via the ‘My Account’ tab on our Website. If you wish to amend or cancel your order, you should contact us immediately via Email (to email@example.com). If at the time we receive your request for amendment or cancellation, we have begun our order process on your behalf, we will not be able to amend or cancel your order and we will complete the order process as normal. If at the time we receive your request for amendment or cancellation, we have not initiated your order process, we will take all reasonable steps to satisfy your amendment requirements, prior to initiating the order process.
In the event of such a request, we will advise you of any appropriate additional costs (should there be any) involved and we will not be held responsible for any delay in delivery that such amendment(s) may cause. In the event that you inform us of the cancellation of your order, prior to the order process beginning, we will refund you in full, less any reasonable administration costs (should there be any) of which we will advise you at the appropriate time.
Returns and Refunds
Greatest Card Limited will always endeavour to deliver your Card(s) in perfect condition. Very occasionally however, problems may arise in despatch or transit. In the highly unlikely event that your Card(s) arrives faulty, damaged or is the wrong Card(s) entirely, you should advise us immediately via Email (to firstname.lastname@example.org).In such cases, we would ask you to secure photographic evidence of any damaged or wrongly despatched Card(s) to assist us with any such situation and then return the said Card(s) to us forthwith. Although we will treat each such circumstance upon it’s own merits, we will always treat legitimate cases sympathetically and replace lost, damaged or wrongly despatched Card(s) whenever appropriate. Greatest Card Limited reserves the right to decide if any Card(s) should be replaced or any refund should be made.
In the event that you are not satisfied with your Card(s), or your Card(s) are lost, faulty or damaged, you should contact us immediately via Email (to email@example.com), or call our Customer Service Team on 07917 897246. We will acknowledge any complaint as soon as we are made aware of the circumstances behind such a complaint, and will do everything within our power to resolve any issues raised. We will act immediately, however in certain circumstances it may take time to resolve issues. We therefore reserve the right to take as much time as is reasonably appropriate, to resolve such issues.
Multiple Claims or Refund Requests
In the extremely unlikely event of individuals or groups of individuals, making persistent or multiple claims for replacement or refund, we reserve the right not to issue such a replacement or refund. In such circumstances, we may refuse to accept any further or future orders from such customers and will inform them of our decision, in writing, via Email or Registered Post.

Our use of Your Contact Information
When you place an order with us your personal information will include your name, address/delivery address and email.
Credit or Debit Card transactions are handled by Paypal not the Greatest Card Limited. Paypal by law must abide by the same obligations in terms of keeping your information private.
Greatest Card Limited will NOT disclose, divulge or sell any such personal data to ANY third party, unless we are required by Law to do so.
We will use such information to periodically inform you of new products and special events or offers and to send you relevant information regarding Greatest Card Limited. You may choose whether or not to receive such information, when you register your account with us.
Wherever your contact telephone number is supplied, in certain circumstances, we may use this number to ensure that you are totally satisfied with your Card(s) and the service that we have provided.

Your Personal Information Security
Greatest Card Limited uses SSL (or Secure Socket Layers), which is currently the most up to date and appropriate security system available. All of your submitted personal information, including your name and address, together with the content of your address book, is encrypted by secure server software, initially, before being transmitted across the internet entirely safely. This information is accessible to our Customer Service Team.
Your Password Security
Registering with Greatest Card Ltd is an individual process. You must not share your username or password information with any other person.
We accept the possibility that you may use the same password for multiple internet accounts, we also accept that this is very sensitive information. Be absolutely assured that your password will stay encrypted at all times and we do not have access to it. We can however supply you with a temporary password should you forget your original password information. You can then access your account and create a new password to be used thereafter, until you feel it appropriate to refresh the password information again.
Credit Card Transactions
We do not record or store your Credit or Debit Card details in our database. Your encrypted Card details are securely transferred to our Payment Service Provider and as soon as we receive authorisation from them, your order is immediately confirmed.

Filming/Photographic Shoot – Competition
All Card Purchasers and Card Recipients names, will periodically (at the discretion of Greatest Card Ltd) be entered into a Prize Draw. The prize will be an invitation for two persons, to attend a scheduled Filming/Photographic Shoot (at the discretion of Greatest Card Ltd), in order that the Prize Winner (and his or her invited guest) may attend to observe and witness just how Greatest Card Ltd put together a “Greatest Card” and the Video and Photographic material which accompanies each individual Card.
The Prize Draws will be conducted in accordance with the varying schedule(s) of Greatest Card Ltd and the number of Prize Draws conducted will be entirely at the the discretion of Greatest Card Ltd.
Greatest Card Ltd will provide £100 towards travelling expenses for each individual Prize Draw Winner. Greatest Card Ltd will also provide appropriate refreshments for the Prize Draw Winner and his or her guest, in accordance with the location and time scale of the Filming/Photographic Shoot in question. Whilst Greatest Card Ltd will do everything we can, to ensure that each individual Prize Draw Winner (and their guest) meet and interact with the appropriate “Subject(s)” of the Filming/Photographic Shoot in question, we will insist that the ‘Subject(s)” privacy and integrity is respected at all times. Greatest Card Ltd will give Prize Draw Winners notice of their Prize, via Email as soon as is possible, in accordance with the varying schedule(s) of the Company and the arrangements made for the individual Filming/Photographic Shoots. The location, itinerary and timetables for each individual Filming/Photographic Shoot, will be entirely at the discretion of Greatest Card Ltd. Greatest Card Ltd reserve the right to postpone, cancel or withdraw any Filming/Photographic Shoot Prize, for any reasons seen fit by the Directors of Greatest Card Ltd.
